Whispering Meadows Ranch is dedicated to giving back our community.  We are located in the beautiful Temecula valley right in the heart of wine country.  We offer educational and volunteer programs to our local clubs at no charge.  Our horses are used to educate these groups on OTTB (off the track Thoroughbreds).

It is a common misconception that these horses are wild, even cray.  Generally they receive more attention than a common back yard quarter horse.  From the day that they are foaled they are handled, groomed and trained for life as a race horse.  On the track they are exposed to large equipment, crowds and various other things that most other horses never see.

After being introduced into our program, they take on an entirely new personality and become gentile and calm.  OTTB make great show horses and trail horses.  We work with our community groups to help people understand that these horses need a life after the track and that becoming a horse owner is often not as complicated as some may think.
